Camping & Bungalows by the Iskar River

Our campsite was once a private holiday residence. We renovated it and opened to guests in summer 2023 as Brusen Hill Camping and Bungalows — a family-run retreat just 3 km from the town of Mezdra, in Vratsa Province, Bulgaria.
 

A Peaceful Campsite in Nature

Set on a forested hill above the village of Brusen, the property offers views of the Iskar River and the surrounding mountains. Half the site is a campsite with terraced pitches for tent camping, campervans and caravans, some with 220V electric hookups. For guests who prefer more comfort, we offer cosy bungalows with private bathrooms and a fully equipped shared kitchen.
 

Facilities & Co-Working

The site features hot showers, modern bathrooms, an outdoor kitchen with BBQ, a fire pit, and picnic tables — all set under the shade of large linden trees. Free Wi-Fi covers the entire property, and our dedicated co-working zone makes Brusen Hill an ideal spot for remote workers and digital nomads looking for a quiet place to work in nature.
 

Explore the Area

We are conveniently located on the E-79 route, making us a perfect stopover whether you are entering or leaving Bulgaria. Nearby attractions include Okolchitsa Peak, Ledenika Cave, the Iskar Gorge, and the Kaleto archaeological complex in Mezdra. The river is a short walk away for swimming and fishing, and there are trails for hiking and mountain biking directly from the campsite.
